Ranged stun, poison and silence versus melee is amazing!
I think if a Undead picks up a bag, and is only stilled then you won't get the bag, you have to exorcise it.
For Beast/Dragon units seemingly they don't have resistance types because those are on amors, so they inflated the HP of Beast/Dragon units, meaning you can still do pretty decent damage with Arrows on them... unless the unit has a crazy high Vit-stat.
At least that is what I think it is according to my play-experience.
As for weapons with breach - there is a spear and a few 2-hand swords that have the Breach effect when upgraded.
Ninja skills can add status effects to your basic attacks and can use bows. They might make better archers than actual archers, since you can apply poison, silence, and stun from afar to neuter casters or apply poison to whittle down tanky enemies. Also, Shortbow+1 applies stun, and I think Baldur Bow+1 applies silence.
