4K Upscaled Cutscenes

I did 4K upscaling on the videos in this game because they looked too low quality. Many videos look too compressed, I've tried to see cutscene files from PS2 and Xbox consoles, it doesn't look any different from the PC version. Still looks bad.

How to install: just copy the videos folder into your game installation folder. (don't forget to back up your files first)


I separate the cutscenes video from the girlfriends video. I did that on purpose, maybe you guys don't care about girlfriends videos XD.

I know this thread is old, but I believe I found a workaround. Activate the highest sound settings (3D virtualization high, 3D audio voices 64. That should work. If you want to know the full story, I had a PC where it worked flawlessly, then I changed PC and it just played only 1 vid (after installing codecs), then I compared all settings from my last PC and the ones that seem to fix this issue were the Sound settings. It's a whole lot more but don't want to write my past 2 weeks here lol. Hope it worked for you.

Before installing codecs vids wont load after installing codecs it crashes the game when it hits a video

They worked prefect for me on steamdeck. The older videos some wouldn't play. This fixed it. Thank you so much.
