THIS IS FOR SP ONLY, I CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THIS FIX WILL OR WILL NOT RESULT IN A MULTIPLAYER BAN

Step 1: Download the fixed exe provided https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wZiIDBOi_S9oW0N3bZmCWHGr-7jZHUZ7/view?usp=sharing

Step 2: Navigate to Delta Force Xtreme 2 folder
C:\Program Files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Delta Force Xtreme 2

Step 3: Replace dfx2.exe with the one provided

step 4: Launch game and Enjoy!

you dont needed to delete the old file...just owerwrite it

ok..i did all the above: deleted the old exe file and replaced with new one, launched it and it goes straight to wanting to activate it. i launched it from steam- no worky.. double clicked new exe icon in game folder and that doesnt work either..
What am i missing here?

Do you guys know if there was ever a 'workaround' / FIX for the multiplayer version of DFX2? THQ bought the rights to the game several years ago. they kept the multiplayer server running for a while, but then just shut it down one day :-( . One of the thq developers told me last year that they (THQ) sold it off, and he has no idea to whom they sold it to..
