Three River Valley (1900 Start)

描述
As requested this is the 1900 to 1912 start for the Three River Valley map, the map has a primitive landscape with fewer resources.

Three river valley is an unforgiving landscape that has resisted previous colonisation attempts which have disappeared into taiga never to be seen again. All that remain of these previous attempts is a few churches connected by worn mud roads. The Republic plans to build a railway that opens up access to the rich resources in the region. Your task is to complete the section between the High Valley in the north and Cribozia in the South. The external connections to these terminals are expected to be completed in 1935, prior to this date supplies are available via Gorzin in the north and New Hope in the south. For a share of the profits a Western company has agreed to provide supply and vehicles via a camp near New Hope.

Additional Information:

The concept behind the story line is support the option to have two starting locations that can be simultaneously developed with the objective of connecting the tracks in the centre of the map.

This map has no external power connections, so generating power will be a necessary to survive. Tip: Look for mods that use other fuels for power and heat or windmills.

Some of the small resource deposits scattered across the map are limited to one low grade mine, while others will require some investment to develop.

This map start requires an extensive use of both building and vehicles mods. These mods will be needed to produce materials, generate power and purify water using trees, crops and gravel.

There are early ship mods that can use the rivers to move resources between locations. Tip: Any dock can purchase ships, but in realistic mode they are delivered from the respective border, so make sure there is a clear path to deliver the ship.

The map contains a number of elevated lakes that are decorative, so the standard game sewage discharge cannot be placed on their shores. It is the water square option in the CIV tab of the terrain editor. Found the best way to place a lake is to create a shallow depression, i.e. the surface level, then paint the water. The painted square orientates to the camera, so will need to make small adjustments to get tangents to a curve. To finish off use the level tool to bring the terrain back over the ragged edges. Recommend making a 'safe' save before starting, then another one before adjusting the terrain.

How did you make those decorative elevated lakes? I cannot seem to find the correct tool in terrain editor.
