I would like to say that, this being your first time with Hammer, this map is pretty good from an Environment Art lens. However i felt it lacked a bit in the gameplay department, since the actual puzzle isn't too long, i'd say it'd be better with maybe one or two more puzzle elements.
One bug i think i found was that the upgraded portal gun was not spawned in the Turret room, therefore i could not finish the level as intended.
Also, it is considered bad practice when you box an entire level in an entire brush like you have done. However i'd say this is fine when making the map, but putting it out as a finished product is not super great, plus it'd be better for you to change that it helps with compile times.
Anyways, good first map. Hope to see more in the future!
