How to fix the black loading screen issue
由 Tango ❄ 制作
Hopefully this fixes the black screen issue some of you might have (the one with an eternal loading time and then you can sort of see an environment if you move the headset a little) It worked for me so hopefully it does the same for you. Multiple fixes inside.

First fix:
1) Right click Bonelabs
2) Select Properties
3) Select Local Files
4) Select Verify Integrity of Game Files
5) Let this run and re-download the game files. It should take 1-2 minutes.
Second fix (Windows 10/11)
1) Press Start
2) Type in 'System Properties"
3) Click System > Control Panel
4) Half-way down the page you should see "Advanced System Settings"
5) Click that, and then under Performance, click Settings
6) Click on the Advanced tab

7) Under Virtual Memory, click Change
(At this point check that the virtual memory is correct - under Total paging file size for all drives, this should correlate to 3x as many GB of RAM you have. For example, if you have 8 GB of RAM, the maximum size should be 24000MB. 16GB should be around 46000MB)

8) Find the SSD that Bonelabs is installed under.
You really shouldn't be using a HDD for this game if you are

9) Select "System Managed Size" instead of "No paging file", then press Set.
10) You're done!

Try Bonelabs again.
Third fix:
Turn off Pause VR

1) Click SteamVR Settings
2) Select Video
3) Enable Advanced settings
4) Turn off 'Pause VR when headset is idle'

Change OpenXR Runtime

1) Open SteamVR
2) Click Settings
3) Select Enable advanced, then Developer
4) Make sure that the OpenXR runtime says “SteamVR"
Other generic fixes
1) Opt into the Steam Beta Update
2) Download new graphics card drivers
3) Update the headset firmware (SteamVR, Update Devices)
Hopefully this works!
If not - Possible dev fix incoming I guess
