Overview
Both Melody's escape 1 & 2 don't support streaming services, but that does not mean you can't get your favourite songs from them.
In this guide, I'll show you how to do that.

Please Note: Most of this guide would only work on Windows, so please use a Windows PC for best results.

Favourite, Like and Star this guide if it's useful to you. :)
Method One (YouTube)

This is the easiest method and the one I suggest you try before moving unto other methods. Most songs have their video versions uploaded on YouTube and thus you can get the songs from YouTube without needing to do a lot of things. This method works with any operating system but requires a browser, preferably a desktop browser.

Get the link of the YouTube music video you want to use in Melody's Escape.

Add the link to the converter website.

I'm using a website called y2mate[www.y2mate.com] but if you're not comfortable with it search for YouTube to MP3 converter on any search engine

Download your MP3 and use it in the game.

Method Two (Spotify)

  • Method One

Go to this site [spotify-downloader.com](If not available in the future use the methods below) and add your Spotify URL. The website gives you the option of downloading the entire album or only the particular option you want.

  • Method Two

This method records the audio from your PC when you play Spotify songs. Currently, this method only works on Windows. You also need the Spotify Desktop app to use this method.
The app we are going to use for this method is called Spytify. Link[jwallet.github.io]

If a pop-up appears, it’s a warning that comes from Windows Defender because Spytify is not registered to Microsoft Store. They prompt that message to protect you and your PC against malware and/or unknown publishers. Spytify is an unknown publisher because the author decided not to make a profit out of it, but rather provide it for free.

All the source code of Spytify is available online for you to view and audit.
    Source Code: https://github.com/jwallet/spy-spotify/tree/1.10.1

If Spytify.exe cannot be found, make sure your security software did not remove it.

Once you have downloaded and set up Spytify just launch the exe file and click start.

After that play your Spotify music file with the desktop app as you normally would. Every song you play would be automatically downloaded.

More information about Spytify can be found here[jwallet.github.io].

Do not use other Spotify convertors or downloaders that you see online.
If you do, you risk getting your account banned. Examples are AudFree, Sidify and Tunepat Spotify converter. If you still want to use them, create a dummy account.

Method Three (Apple Music / Other services downloaders. )
This last method is to be used if all the above methods don't work (Which I doubt lol) or you use other music providers like Apple Music, Tidal, etc. How this method works is that it records your PC audio just like Spytify does.

I have tested this method only on Windows and can't say if it works on other operating systems.

  • Most music streaming providers have a desktop app for Windows. Find the app of your streaming provider and then download it. Another application you need to download is called Audacity.

  • Once you have downloaded these two applications, open Audacity and click Audio Setup.

  • From there set your Host to Windows WASAPI.

  • After that set your recording device to your speakers/headphones loopback.

  • Finally, set your recording channels to stereo.

  • Hit record and then play your song. That should be all.
