Act 1: How to Empire build.
Vytvořil [H.E.] ✟ GrandEmperorVandheer ✟ a spoluautoři (4)
This is a personal guide, where I will be encouraging the TF2 Community at large to build my Empire upon nearly every corner of the casual specifically, not community or competitive but casual. And this is no stereotypical, generic, or ordinary empire... It's a rare one.

The way this guide works is where I will be teaching the 9 lessons, one in each section and can/will attracts only a few people at first then tens of thousands later(for some reason). I've always wanted to see what TF2 would look like after it's current state its in against the bot crisis, but unfortunately many tf2 players have been suffering on constant indulgent of cosmetics, unnecessary grumbles, immoral addictions to indecency, and above all slowly loosing their insanity by searing their consciousnesses. Game communities these days.
Before we dive into the guide...

a fair warning: Not everyone will take this guide seriously and maybe confusing for some people, please be aware. I also do not involve in phishing or any malicious activity of any kind, the following of this guide is solidly men't for Educational purposes ONLY.

Without further do... lets begin!

Lesson One: Influence
Influence is key of manipulating everyone and everything to your surroundings, and the best of influence is when players notice you and seeing your good at the game or they've been reading your chat and hearing you talking on your microphone as you lead your teams to victory after fulfillment victory. But this infrastructural tactic doesn't always work to your advantage, you'll need a Strong and powerful mindset to bend the environments to your wills.
Such as:
  • Speaking positives things to your team.
  • Referencing funny or interesting quotes.
  • Avatar makeup.
  • Epic Gaming moves that others never knew it was a thing.
  • YouTube Videos.
  • Random puns.
  • Calling out "Spy (Name or Class)".
  • Calling out "MEDIC!" when your health bar is below half point.
  • And of course votekicking bots and cheaters or someone else.

Heck! There's all kinds of ways and concepts of using the power of influence that can and will be uncovered by those who never knew it was possible. Well...except for the unpleasant ones.

Say that you want to help players out to build some sort of spiritual culture and trust but in order to do that, you have to be smart by saying "You need of my assistance?" if they say "sure I guess." You can ask them what do they need and they'll say in example:
  • Need help capturing the point!
  • Help me push this cart!
  • Defend the point!
  • Pop Uber!!!
  • This sniper keeps headshotting me. :(
  • This spy won't leave my buildings alone. :(
  • Kick the bot! >:(
  • The scout is harassing me.
  • And ask for a Sentry, Dispenser And/Or Teleporter.

So what will you do?

A. Reply "Yes I'll help"?
B. Reply "No I will not help"?
C. Take action without response?
D. Take action with response?
E. Continue your own matters?
F. Help someone else instead?
G. AFK?
H. Heal your teammate?
I. Don't heal the player teammate?

The answer is all and none of the above. Meaning there is no right or wrong answer, although each question does have more then one. It does come to conclusion if the team you're in are lacking coordination against the enemy team that is well prepared, chances are you'll lose miserably with no influential capability at all may never move on to the next lesson.
Lesson Two: Cultural Trust
At this lesson where you have the influence to build Culture and Trust to-and-from the people you knew for at least a week or two. In some cases when they change their profile name and avatar, so you'll be unable to recognize them but they'll know you because you don't normally shape-shift into a whole new entity, but there is one thing they can't change... Their voice in chat.

In other occasions if your relationship with them is:
  • Very weak - They can like not want to deal with you again.
  • Slightly weak - Don't work out well but not terrible.
  • Decent - Half on one side, half on the other.
  • Strong - Getting good at the hang over.
  • Very strong - Excellent at being a people's person.

There are key elements of forging trust and culture, and no that does not mean you get to show off some dank memes. However you can always come up with plans that you and the people can agree on but there are certain things you must say 'no' to and not always say 'yes' to everything. And here's why. You will be tempted of things that can get you in trouble of when you're not. resisting or rebuking the scammers, and no I'm not talking about scams in trades or similar like that. no no no no no! what we're talking about is there are very real creeps out there farming degenerates and the victims don't realize that each of the persons conscience has been seared, plus have no clue that the truth is right in their faces where in front of them is being blocked by a wall of lies. So how can this be undone?

Well, theoretically there is a way you can avoid committing this perverted act by Either:
  • Avert your eyes off their signs.
  • Block the user.
  • Votekick them out for valid reason.
  • Tell everyone in your team the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
  • Convict the player without condemning.
  • Sharpen yours and other's sensitivity.
  • Become more self-aware.
  • Don't let any creep steal your fun.
  • Don't be afraid to do the right thing.

If you do this correctly you'll be unstoppable, and no psychopath will stand in your way!

Now lets see what Lesson Three has to offer?
Lesson Three: Empathy
If the truth been told, empathy is a very essential when it comes to impressing emotions to one another that includes:
  • Joy
  • Fear
  • Anger
  • Sadness
  • Passion
  • Hatred
  • Laughter
  • Jealousy
  • Pride

Now We're not entirely saying that emotions are a threat. No! There are many pathways of emotions like the ones we've recently talked about. For instance say that one team was so happy that they kept on winning over and over until they got bored and left the server, while the other team got frustrated that they're loosing and start cursing and making raging trash talks not at the opponent team but their own for not getting their head in the game, if it were up for us, we would be feeling sorry for them while glad at the other.

Players like you should not humiliate certain players specifically that has feelings that could potentially make them rage-quit and uninstall TF2 forever and never return... Think about it.
How would you feel when someone does that to you in the other way around.
Would you:
  • Curse them in the face?
  • Trash talk back how bad they are?
  • Speak with reason?
  • ignore?
  • Insult?
  • Play the game as usual?
  • Prove them wrong?
  • Reveal facts?
  • Or explain to them why this game positively brought us here for a reason with love and compassion?
Welp! All of this will go well for both of you and the individuals you're interacting with so that you may enter the next lesson for study.
Lesson Four: Pruning
You may have be familiar with the friend request mechanic on Steam, but what we will be focusing is adding TF2 players that are level 150 Tier 8 which are the highest TF2 players who ever lived, they know what they're doing, spend tens of thousands of hours on TF2, and win 90% of the time to uphold their skills as possible.

Aim Accuracy, Strategic Value, and Professional Skill are the three home-marks of each one of these killing machines. Each of you can develop through this rank as well, if either you develop this by yourselves or grab a helper to push your limits to be the greatest in the next generations to come. Yet most of you have failed yourselves in this process.

Starting immediately! You will treating with these gentle guardian angels with the highest respect because they've learn the rank as level 150 Tier 8 and they will most likely not expect anything less from you.
Now we know what y'all thinking asking us "But what is Pruning?" We'll tell you what it means, it means cutting away dead or overgrown branches or stems, especially to increase fruitfulness and growth. Think of it like an apple from an apple tree where the farmers pick the fruit off from the tree and put them into a baskets for shipping, same thing with Bananas, Oranges, Coconuts, Strawberries, Specially Lemons. Y'know there is a say in this where a group of famous bakers made the most wonderful "Lemon Pie" you should try it sometimes lol.

Anyways for all seriousness. It's one of those days where you feel like your team is being to insufficient on brain power to lead a counter-strike against the enemy defenses where the engie nest is located on the first to last control points on maps like Dustbowl or Mercenary Park. You do not have to rely on tier 8's, there are other veteran players who has passed from Tier 2 to Tier 7 that are a lot skilled then Tier 8's that have been either retired, monthly long breaks from all the stress they've been through, in a party of 5 or 6 of these pros can overwhelm the Tier 1's with ease.

Since you've completed this lesson, and has memorized all that we've told you, lets keep going.
Lesson Five: Loyalty
Like Influence and Culture, loyalty is somewhat the most important concept of establishing our Empire on TF2, meaning people can choose to follow you wherever you go, but how and the way you lead them is a true testament of each TF2 player who turned out to be [H.E.] Members.

So how does Loyalty work you ask?
Say each of you have 100 people on your friends list and all of them were decent, mature, and somewhere between tier 2 to 7, do not swear a lot, main classes from Scout to Spy at stage 9.
What will you do?

Will you?:
A. Show some respect?
B. Don't talk to them?
C. Ask to join your party?
D. Join their party?
E. Hope on the community server they're on?
F. Go medic to help keep them alive in-game?
G. Learn every skill from the mains?
H. Reveal your concept art to amaze them?
I. Allow them to aid you in your quest to victory?

Remember, these questions have more then one answer.

So the truth is, the TF2 Community cannot operate without a chain of command, nor will it survive in a constant civil war of multiple tiny clans fighting against each other with no end, and we'll say this Community should be anchored by unification, morality and of course... "Loyalty" Lead by a Righteous Clan that started small, nothing-to-something, a Clan that tolerates no fetishes or degeneracy of any kind, a Clan like...mine.

Anyways if you have learned this lesson already, lets dive in to lesson 6. Because things are starting get interesting from basics to decent, all the way to advance.
Lesson Six: 1 Group only
Okay so this is the part where things get slightly confusion to accept. It's at this phase where you have completed all 5 of the lessons in chronological order and that's good, but you will get to the point where Our Steam Group called the "Hollakloryn Empire" have been walking you through this progress for a long time. And since we've been active daily and you can actually trust me of what We're doing in reality and not what others view me. If you don't want to, that's fine! But you will not able to reach this lesson of completion if you don't.

There are two options in this category, and 9 phases each.

Option One: Request to Join
Phase 1. Wait for approval.
Phase 2. Be accepted as one of us.
Phase 3. Approval rate has to be +50.
Phase 4. Add [H.E.] Clan-tags on your profile name as a cherish member.
Phase 5. Form in-game parties with Friends you can trust.
Phase 6. Do not attack or kill players on opposite team that has the [H.E.] clan tag on their names.
Phase 7. If approval rate is +70 you can gain your Clan Leader's just to be commanders.
Phase 8. Develop Leadership skills.
Phase 9. Don't join the other groups that are in direct conflict to ours.(That will lead to war.)

Option Two: Group Invite
Phase 1. Ask a friend.
Phase 2. If yes, Invite them.
Phase 3 If no, wait a little longer.
Phase 4 Approval rate has to be in the + not in the -.
Phase 5 If Approval is still at -30 wait for it to be at +40.
Phase 6 Now you many invite them.
Phase 7 Then they will accept.
Phase 8 Don't forget to add the [H.E.] tags on your profiles if you are members.
Phase 9 Don't invite them into the other groups.

You got it? Okay next lesson.
Lesson Seven: Server Occupation
At this lesson, you've reach to a point where your armies are large enough, you and your teams are well trained and ready, and have finally occupied the majority of the TF2 Casual servers. But there is 3 things you're missing.
1. Border Friction
2. Trade Value
3. Communion Security

Border Friction:
The TF2 Casual Servers you're now occupying needs a tight grip with the amount of players you posses, say that you have 2 party teams on the same team and are full, plus the enemy team is filled with bots, you'll need to act accordingly with realistic squad builds like a deadly combination of 6 Vaccinator Medics and 6 Heavies knowing which path the bots will take, or a combination of 3 Iron Bomber Demomen, 3 Engineers, 3 Soldiers, 2 Vaccinator Medics and 1 Brass Beast Heavy with Fists of Steal. And once you have push the bots back into their spawn correctly, they can't do anything about it.

Trade Value:
There are several TF2 Trading websites that we personally don't want to go into, but for you... Good luck with that. Because we do not want you getting scammed. But what you can also do is as you trade at least 1 spare cosmetic for 200 Refined Metal, you can actually use it to craft more cosmetics for giveaways, additional trade offers either with Refine Metal, etc, or simply wait on random item drops. Your Choice.

Communion Security:
Many people will try to steal your fun by throwing these unholy yet random insults and curses at you. But don't let them provoke you like that! You make reference of things like Warhammer 40k, Star Wars, Halo, or some other cool Sci fi films that you never knew existed, but suddenly you notice in chat or in voice that certain people are say weird perverted things and you can't tolerate it any further, so what we would do if we were you is just votekick them, like we explained previously.

Next Lesson!
Lesson Eight: Redecorating
If you're creators of maps, mods, models, etc. Then this is where you've reached to this lesson where I personally feel like TF2 is impure or at least started to be. For Example:
  • 1/3 of the community servers are empty!
  • Players using signs for immoral pleasure!
  • Players posting inappropriate sprays!
  • Quality Control not being enforced!
  • Bad Actors not being silenced!
  • Kids under 16 years of age playing!
  • Lying to admins!
  • Pedos not getting banned!
  • They are literal "Furries" almost everywhere unchecked!!!

Those are the Negatives that we unveiled that need to be looked into and we must taken action against them. But here are the Positives as good news:
  • Bots getting destroyed in-game with ease.
  • Players have manage to kick the bots also with ease in the past 3 years.
  • A few exploits have been patched by Valve.
  • Stability is slowly rising quicker than usual.
  • A hand full of decent players are started to do the right thing by rejecting degeneracy.
  • +50% players are started to figure out how the Halloween maps actually work.
  • 90000 active players in TF2 and holding.
  • Valve is now caring for Team Fortress 2 by adding new updates, though not major.
  • Plus the player-count peak has reached to over 200000.

The only treatments we would personally and strongly propose is(Dream Update):
  • Add Black and Yellow Cutting Edge Technology Theme on The overhaul, Maps, Classes, Etc.
  • Add Vehicles like Jeeps, Tanks, Walkers, Fighters, Bombers, Gunships, And Super Units.
  • Add Ships such as Frigates, Corvettes, Destroyers, Cruisers, Battlecruisers, Battleships.(in space)
  • Redecorate the maps as fortified strongholds, Citadels with Artillery Defense, And Capitals.
  • Add a feature that shows a chain of command to reveal who's in charge and who gets to lead.
  • Select 9 TFtubers in order for them to lead and manage the 9 Tribes(Not Clans) of tf2.(We'll get to that later)
  • Remove all inactive community servers with no players at all to reduce upkeep.
  • Update the map feature where it shows all existing small maps around the world.(Like google maps.)
  • Help us build maps across, 5 miles tall and 20 square-miles wide, North, South, East, West.

Now moving on to the Final Lesson!
Lesson Nine: Divide and Conquer!
Last and certainly not least, this is a Lesson where you as a Community can and will reach. once the game has been completely converted, you may freely travel throughout Steam to share the principles to nomadic organizations outside of the game's influence.

Such as:
  • Hop into a chatroom.
  • Subscribe to Forum Pages.
  • Interact with Steam users in profiles.
  • Meet other game communities.
  • Hang out with friends who don't play TF2.
  • Use the Market for financial use.
  • Buy games that doesn't have to be similar to TF2.
  • Create novels based on true stories.
  • Meet actual YouTubers who uses Steam.

Although this Lesson does seem generic at first, but once you've learned the other 8, you can always feel confident enough that you have voices to speak, acts to take, and ears to listen.

And as for us... This is just the beginning of the guidance we've reveal to you. So don't be offended or confused of why we're doing all this, for we did not intend to see this game die, but to live for all eternity as possible as it was predicted by Gaben so long ago.

As always, God bless TF2! :D

These are great guidelines and principles for community building regardless of game.

One critique: Some of these sentences are written so strangely that they become my focus for a few minutes. Run the entire guide through Grammarly or MS Word's(or LibreOffice Write's) built-in grammar checker and I will be eternally grateful. There are also different ways to write the same thing where such issues won't even accidentally happen.

Also you mention that you need to know your own reputation level. Is this something you have record of or some in-game stat(supposing you're referring to counter-strike 2 only). As a non-member of course I probably don't have such a number yet. If this is something all steam groups have then I'm all for it.

See you on the battlefield(mostly TF2).

I might as well need to update this guide for a moment.
