What is this guide?
This guide is not meant to tell you beforehand where to go, you will stumble over most of these locations naturally during gameplay. It is meant more as a lookup table if you need to find/farm these chroma blocks again later to get enough for weapon upgrades.

Why are there a bunch of areas missing?
I chose to only record the chromas that I ended up needing the most of that were kind of out of the way / late game. All other chromas imo where frequent enough that you wouldn't run out of them when you want to upgrade.

If there is interest in the earlier chroma locations, I'd be happy to document them, too.
Beach City Woods
South trail

1x green left & down from pad
2x yellow left & down from pad, behind 2 trees (need to find 6 dewdrops first)

Basement of the Temple
The one you can name yourself. I named it the "spooky basement"

The Split
2x indigo: first right door / third door from the left

The trial
1x indigo to left after first gate
1x indigo to left from violet gate (opposite of blue box puzzle)

The depths
1x indigo & 1x yellow in front of the zigzag stairs to the right
1x indigo in the left of the long puzzle

The decent
1x orange behind prism station
Forge
Secret entrance
1x violet to the right of the entrance

Workshop
2x orange, 1x red, north of pad, behind obsidian
2x red at top of green activated pillar, down the stairs from pad
1x red on platform above lava on the way towards the right
2x red one each right & left to the scaffolded rose statue

Uncharted depths
2x red left behind the pad
1x red 1x yellow south from the pad towards the secret exit & light steven

Hall to the Heart
1x red across the pad

Volcanic Venture
1x red right next to bottom pad
1x red up two towers and to the left
1x red & 1x orange all the way at the top pad

I've been searching and there is another violet chroma
Go to "The great North" in the "Frigid Bridge" go to the right, and go dow the stairs next to the chest, then keep going right, close to the waterfall, next to a blue chroma, there it is

hello, just popping in after farming for an unreasonable amount of time;
-one yellow chroma can be found at strawberry battlefield temple crater, its right under the pad. go right down and left to access it (its also where you find a sword for ronaldo)
-easiest yellow chroma can be found by just going to the left from the barn. there's two.
-a good spot for both yellow n violet chroma is strawberry battlefield ruined ruins. from the pad, go left and eventually you will see a mage. ignore it, go down, and enter a cracked wall. at the right of it there will be one yellow and two violets
dont give up farming, you know you want those achievements :peridotcrystalgem:

No way there's only one violet chroma 💀💀💀💀💀 (I need 40 of them and i have 20 XD)

I believe it would be a lot better to have a sort of map to mark these positions on, but I don't have maps and I'm not skilled at all to create them.

But yes, maybe a few screenshots to show where to go to get to the more hidden places could be helpful.

Are any of the ones that are in the post not clear where to go?
