Improved Sound Effects

Description
As the name implies, this mod simply replaces, adds, and modifys the behavior of sound effects to create audio design that is, in my opinion, more satisfying than the vanilla counterpart.

The mod completely changes menu sounds, most gun sounds, adds to the majority of hit sounds (including the player hit sound), adds new sounds for crafting, and much more. There is a lot to list, but the video on the steam workshop should give you a general idea.

id like to make a suggestion because this genuinely drives me insane, could you separate the sounds of wood, dirt, silt, sand, doors being broken, ect. the fact they are all the same sound in terraria genuinely makes me lose my mind especially when im sitting in my house getting the low end of my headphones peaked. i love this mod and i genuinely do not know where else would be most effective to suggest this

Is the config somewhere besides the ModConfigs Folder? As the Mod Browser has the config option greyed out.

Oh and 11/10 since I noticed it FIXED something that WAS NEVER running. (had no idea the endless morning from Stars Above even HAD a constant song) Thanks!

@Eldrick Tobin I mean, the config exists for a reason. You can just enable only the sound effects that you like

*playing it* is much better than the *youtube preview*.

Playing it... like 7.5/10... probably higher.
YouTube... like a solid 6... UNTIL you mine metal. Then 3/10 while mining metal. So YouTube does you a *~*bit*~* dirty. If I VeinMined(TM), 480 HP damage a second to my brain shield.

Are there any rain white noise sound effects for varying levels of rain? I can't find a mod that does that - and it's an immersion thing that I'm desperately looking for. As far as I know, not even Terraria Ambience does it.

Is this mod compatible with Magic Storage? It seems whenever I open the crafting interface, the crafting sounds constantly play until awhile after I leave the world
