1.
If you´re on a hurry and need to run a red light, do it on the other side of the street and the cops won´t fine you! (has to be a bug, might be fixed) EDIT: you can turn the police off in the options menue if you dont like it too realistic
2.
Invest your first 3 Skillpoints in "good buisness sense" this will give you 20% more income on contracts! (later on money will be no problem at all but early on this will get you covered)
3.
For easy early money do the Street Jobs, it´s just driving back and forth with max. 3 different mashines so you don´t have to learn very much in the beginning.
4.
After "Good business sense", invest your next skill points in full buckets. This will speed up those long digging tasks. (subbed by Chacal)
5.
If you want to play on both European and US maps, you don't need to create two profiles. Just add a new company to your profile. (subbed by Chacal)

I have spent hours over the past 3 days attempting to get my controller to do anything in the game, with no luck...It works in all the STEAM TEST, and I get nothing once the game starts. Can't help or support...not very happy

In USA map I was building the store at the dam. On the way to get prefab panels I came to a T intersection and had a yield sign. No cars coming so I kept going and got a traffic warning. Only then did I see the traffic light across street in front of me. WTF is there a yield sign and a traffic light at a T intersection ???

@HankisOn: You have to do it from the Start menu.
Choose "Start Game", and select your existing character/profile. Choose "Start Your Own Company" and then click "Create a New Company".

don´t understand HOW exactly to create a company in the other country, without creating a new profile?
The Jobs-menue only shows "opening .." of the country i´m already in =!=?

For extera money use a dump truck to haul off dirt for excavations and sell it at the gravel pit also as long as you leave a piece of equipment in the work zone the game wont auto finish task and you can haul out more dirt. use the loader or back hoe to pick up any piles of dirt and sell it. i found the mobile crane more useful then the tower at first.

Finally figured out to get rid of the bugged cargo on the flatbed, in the warehouse under world the items will be visible, they are of course visible on the truck, but you can't attach the crane, so in the menu you can move them to other places like the warehouse, freeing up your flatbed again.
