Backrooms Apocalypse

A Backrooms map inspired by Kane Pixels and many others with entities and multiple floors.

Head down to the bottom and find the Mall. The mall will lead you to the exit.



IMPORTANT

My original intent with this map was to make the Entities rare with sprinter zombies enabled to simulate the real backrooms experience. However changing zombie spawns only works in exterior spaces. Since the Backrooms is a single massive building the game has a habit of spawning a lot of zombies everywhere. Changing zombie count or population multiplier does nothing since the zombie spawning inside buildings is a separate mechanism. I've added an ample number of weapons and guns to mitigate this. I recommend finding and using deep pitfalls to send the monsters to hell. Disabling zombies does work so if you just want to explore you can do that.

When you start the map you will fall into the 6th floor. Most resources can be found on the 5th floor. Because the Backrooms is a single building the game might very rarely decide to not spawn any zombies in it at all. If you see no zombies on the 5th floor this has happened and you will have to restart the map. (Level 6 does not spawn zombies.)

This mod replaces some vanilla files. Remember to turn the mod off when you are not playing the map.
