由 A.B.A. Guilty Gear 制作
The title says it all. If you suck massive donkey balls at medic, hopefully this here guide will help mitigate that problem.

1. Why the meta is the Crossbow, Stock, and Ubersaw
Everybody who knows anything about TF2 knows the medic's meta. You always see people who pick medic using the same three weapons, but nobody really talks about why you use these. Lets start with the easiest one, that being the crossbow. The Crusader's Crossbow might be one of the best items in the game. Good damage from range, Amazing burst healing, and a single projectile that's easier to understand and use. The needleguns just don't compare to the Crossbow because of how effective it is in the hands of even a moderately skilled player.

The Stock Medigun is used for the reason of consistency. Though, any medigun can be used to your tastes and playstyles. However, stock doesn't have the one crippling weakness that the others don't. Any amount of focus fire shuts down the vaccinator, quick-fix, and especially the kritzkreig. massive damage resistance, 200 healing per second, and getting guaranteed critical hits mean nothing when you are completely invincible. Again, none of the mediguns are terrible, I'd rather have a kritz medic on my team rather than none at all. It's just that complete invincibility, even if it's only eight seconds, can make or break a game.

The Ubersaw is just stupid...
Preserving Uber after death with the vitasaw is only really useful if you can't stay alive, but the weapon also punishes you by hindering your ability to stay alive. The Amputator is okay. Healing while taunting is such a mildly lukewarm ability, but extra healing for yourself is good for escaping a sticky situation, but if you're in a situation where your team is dead and you're the last one, you're pretty much dead. The Solemn Vow lets you see enemy health. It's good that you can see the enemy team's health and uber, but if you want to keep an advanced uber advantage, switch to spy or sniper and kill the other medic at that point. I don't even need to say anything about the Bonesaw. But I guess I'll say that swinging faster means nothing compared to a free 25%
2. Who to Value During Combat?
Yourself. Value yourself. Being the head honcho of healing tends to put a target on your fat medicinal ass. If nothing is happening, that means danger is ready to jumpscare you like an animatronic bear. Turning around in non-combat situation deters spies (unless they have an interp of like 9000). In combat though, keep track of your power classes. Heavy, demo, and soldier are your best friends. Pyro isn't a bad choice either, but he's a better choice on defense. If you are advancing, try to keep everyone on your team topped off, and give your power classes overhealed. Retreating though, some of your teammates will probably die, and if they're a power class, get away from whatever killed them, and find another power class to be around.

Also, a nice little list of importance for pretty much every situation:
Very important: Heavy, Soldier, Demo
Important: Pyro, Medic
Mild Important: Sniper, Engineer
Not Important: Spy Scout
3. General Tips and Pointers
I know I was talking about how great the crossbow was earlier, but when paired with the medigun, you can heal your teammates much faster. While on the subject of the crossbow, don't be afraid of shooting out an arrow down a chokepoint. You have about 40 of them, and it doesn't matter if you hit a friend or foe. You can either deal decent chip damage (maybe even get a kill), heal a teammate a fair amount of health, or just miss. I've never really heard people talk about how expendable crossbow ammo is.

Don't be afraid of ubering some classes that aren't power classes. An Ubered scout can be a massive pain if they're good. Also, don't be afraid of ubering nobody. If your team is dead, you are of more valuable if you pop and live, rather than die and lose all your charge.

Final tip is to heal scouts when trying to get to the frontline fast, or during set up. Sometimes a teleporter isn't a guarantee. Especially on 5CP or Payload offense. Because healing scout gives you a speed boost, it means you can get to your teammates quicker, which is great for your uber build, and thier health bars.
4. "Advanced Tech"
Just a more "advanced" trick for a final piece of advice. Airstrafing and B-hopping. Airstraifing and B-hops should be some things you've heard about if you've looked up "how to rocket jump" or "stickyjumps for beginners". But for the, what, 12 people who haven't heard of them, let me explain. B-hopping is constantly hopping in order to gain some speed. Just keep on pressin' that jump key and you'll be just ever so slightly faster. Who knows, maybe the extra speed might save your skin. Then airstrafing is, when you are midair, you release your forward movement key, press either your left or right key, and then move your mouse in that direction. This will allow you to make more tight turns while airborne, and thus make it harder for enemy players to hit you. Oh yeah, you'll wanna be crouch jumping while doing these because holding the control key lets you stay in the air longer, and give you more air control. Also, yes it makes your hitbox smaller.
