To enhance the map beyond it's regular borders. I love this map and the artstyle of Desperados 1 especially, so this was a no-brainer to do.

Sadly there is no level editor and even just changing small fragments of existing maps like adding another NPC requires extensive knowledge of the game's inner workings, so I doubt people will ever be able to create their own desperados maps using this technology. Looks fantastic nonetheless."
