Consider cheating is really not the best way to enjoy a game, you are ruining your gaming experience. If ever you want to add money, do it for a good reason, and take it easy. The Major might ask you how you did it 👀

-Open the Console by pressing ` (or !) key
-Type 'bank [amount of money]' , example : bank 30000
-Enjoy

For future patches, if the console disappears, here is an alternative solution ↓

-Definitely Not Fried Chicken must be open, you have to be on your game, and set the game to pause.
- You have to be in a negative bank account
- If you fail, it will not break your game/save, you will get a basic gamecrash, if you want to try again, close everything and start the procedure again

1. Download Cheat Engine

First, you have to download Cheat Engine https://www.cheatengine.org/downloads.php
This is a very simple way to modify data from a save. Btw it's safe, free, no ad etc etc..., you can use it for a lot of other games.

2. Open and Find

Open Cheat Engine and click on the search button (1) , then locate DNFC and click Open (2)

3. Fill in the values

You will find a looooooot of value, don't care of it.
Write how many money you have in your bank account, if there is a negative value, do not forget to write the negative line (my value is -2345), then click on the New Scan button

4.Edit

The list should be shorter, if there is still a lot of address (like +100 address), make sure you are a little more negative (bellow -400$ will be easier to edit and avoid any crash)

Select the Addresses and click on the arrow (red square in picture), they will move on the bottom (follow the arrow lol)

Select the values (1) → Right Click → Change Record (2) → Value (3)

Then, choose the value you want to set. Personaly edited the value to 30000.

5. Leaving the program

YAY it worked ! 😁
You can now close Cheat Engine, it will ask if you want to save, click No

For the cheat engine users.
You dont have to be in negative.

Have the settings on Exact Value and 4 Bytes
If you have for example $ 4,563.00
Type 456300 in value an click on scan
then skip time a bit in game till your money changes.
Now type in the new value for your money and click on Next scan.
there should now be only one address in the left column.
double click it and it will go to the bottom window in cheat engine.
now you can change the value however you want,
if you want for example 25,000.00 in you account.
type in 2500000. because it counts the two 00 where the cents usually are also. so you have to type them but only without the , and .

this should work. it did for me anyway.

You can also use save edit online. (saveeditonline dot com) and load the .bytes file inside steamapps\common\Dopeloop\DNFC_Data\StreamingAssets\FacilityData

to change money just search "bank" and enter desired amount.

ex. if you have 1450.25 its gonna show as 145025 in SEO so if you want 20 k just change the 1 to 20. if you have 20 and want 4 just delete the first 20 and put 4

in CE search for 3000050 if you have 30000.50 $.

The Tilde ( ~ ) key does nothing. This guide does not work. Cheat Engine is not allowing any of this. And i have been using Cheat Engine for several years now.
