Full disclaimer, i never make guides, so bare with me on this one.

There are a couple of things you need to know before we start. We will be using mods, so if your server doesn't allow mods at all, i'm sorry but this wont work for you.

The only mod you will need is Dino Storage V2. No we will not be simply using the souls (even though you could if you want to), the mod just allows us to disable the cryo sickness on vanilla cryo pods.

- Subscribe to the Dino Storage V2 mod

- Head over to your GameUserSetting.ini file (GUS for short).
- SP file path: Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
- Server file path: ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsServer

- Ones in the GUS file, go down all the way and paste in this line. This will prevent cryo sickness. Make sure to save the file before closing it.

CryoCooldownImmunity=True

- Last step is to add the mod into your server, you can either do this via the GUS file, or straight from the game. Enjoy cryopods without the problems of cryosickness. (mod id: 1609138312)

The next step(s) are fully optional, you don't need them but they can be nice especially on servers. The next steps will allow you to hide the engrams from Dino Storage V2 (the soul/the terminal/the soulgun). This is not needed, but is useful for people trying to only change cryopods without having souls in their ark.

- Head over to your Game.ini file
- SP file path: Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
- Server file path: ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsServer

- Once you found and opened the Game.ini file, paste these lines into the [/script/shootergame.shootergamemode] section. Again making sure you save it after.

This will hide these engrams (Soulgun/Soulfinder/Soultrap/Soulterminal) from the players engrams. Things like the point cost and level requirement you can make whatever you want, i just used these numbers for the memes. They don't change anything, because like said before the engrams are hidden.

Apologies for the unprofessional guide. I never make guides really. But i really had to make one now as i was searching for a way to do this myself for the longest time now.

When it comes to cryo pods and cryo sickness, you have multiple options. For allot of people Dino Storage V2 is their fix. But i personally wanted to use vanilla cryopods without cryo sickness. But this is really only possible (to my knowledge) with Dino Storage V2. Such an amazing mod. I also recommend you to check the mod out for how it was intented to be used, it has allot of QoL changes that normal cryo pods don't have.
