"There was time, when Carriers from mod "Barotraumatic Xanmonsters1 Fixes" were using "EK | Gunnery" nuclear homing shells. It's was super broken, because they fired dozens of shells at once. It was pretty much a "game over" when you could hear nuclear homing shells hum outside, if someone didn't die from explosion, they would die from radiation.

Don't know exactly how they track targets, I was just switching to passive sonar, stoping engine on my sub and praying, sometimes it was working and they weren't targeting us.
Never tried using a decoy.
You can shoot them with any gun.

How did the homing shells track targets? Could decoy shells work to distract the shells? or if not, use a nuke on them to destroy them?

Can't say for nukes, because it's not happening anymore, but I saw that carriers spawn infront themselves homing shells from EK

This was because this isn't from a carrier from our mod but from a vanilla thalamus wreck which was being overriden by EK and was making it use nukes
