Simrad AP60

To use please turn on "Infinite Electricity"

1: Touch to activate Bowthrusters
2: Touch to activate or reset the Headinghold if a new Heading was entered
3: Indicator lights green if System is turned on
4: Touch to set the Heading
5: S is Standby/System off; A is Automatic/System on
6: Current Heading
7: Current Heading when "HDG" is shown
Set Heading (4) when "SET HDG" is shown
8: Rudder Indicator for rudder angle in 45 degrees and arrows that shows the commanded rudder direction

Ive build this for my upcoming Ship and tried to be near on the original Simrad AP60 as possible.
So its been made with other Systems in mind like an ECDIS to support the automatic steering of the Ship, but it can also be used Standalone with a coordinate of the map and a compass.
With the help of the Bowthrusters, also activated with A/D, you can turn on the spot if you arent moving.

I've build a vehicle around it for you to better understand what it does and to easier install it on your own ship.

With a click on the Microcontroller in the Workbench you can further customise its behaviour like changing the Rudder (Sticky/Reset), the initial Steering-Sensitivity, the "RPS Limiter" the maximum at which the Bowthrusters operate and the "Step" at which rate the Bowthruster reach its max rps, to easy tune it for small or big ships. For good performance on big ships you can add more small motors or even add an gearbox to it.
Remember to set your Helms A/D to Reset and Sensitivity to 100%!
