What I will say is I neglected my funds a bit and rolled up to the final shop at the end with not enough money to afford the Dragon Sword. Luckily you can just attack the shopkeeper and reset until you win the coin flip. I actually luckily beat him first try so I didn't have to reset and stole the Dragon Sword to finish off the run.
As Kaede mentioned below resets take out a lot of the RNG element, you are stuck with whatever rolls you get as it saves after the roll, but you can infinitely retry the roulettes. I only reset once this run and it was due to mistiming a cards space, actually nailed all the treasure weapons first try. Thanks again for the guide
...if you just bought an island's weapons, you'll get the dungeon's weapon.
...if you just grabbed a dungeon weapon, you'll get the next shop's weapon (and get to skip it because the other weapon will've been collected from central at the start).
Also, seconding what the Kaede Akamatsu commenter stated. Alt+F4 any time you fail to grab a weapon from a treasure tile. If your senses aren't so sharp, even with the peripheral vision method (peripheral is better suited for tracking movement rather than details) having endless retries is invaluable.
The game auto-saves the roll you got, so if you roll a 5 and close the game, next time you open you will be forced to move 5 squares. So the trick is to get to the treasure chest you need, and if you don't get the equipment you need, you can close the game, and next time you open again, the game will have your roll saved, but not what you got, so go to the treasure square and repeat until you get what you need.
