WHAT IS ''CROUCHING'' AND WHY DO I NEED IT?

crouching is a position where the knees are bent and the upper body is brought forward and down.



Also, when you crouch, your body takes up less space. that means you can sneak into tonnels, caves, vents, under fallen trees and etc. and be less visible (for example, if you want to steal sweets from vase before dinner). Crouching is the backbone of all stealth games and shooters, also because it reduces recoil and aim movement, making you more accurate(if i get a lot of likes, i will make tutorial how to shoot).
yes, crouching is definitely useful thing, but in this position you can not run and the overall speed of movement is also reduced.

however, if this does not scare you, proceed to the next step in mastering crouching.

in most videogames, the crouching mechanic is organized in the same way, and now i will demonstrate it to you.

put away all unnecessary things on the table and make sure the keyboard is clean and all your fingers are intact and in place.
This step is optional, but will be useful for comfortable mastering crouching.

if you have previously completed this step, just skip it.
find a button on your pc/laptop to turn it on. in every model it's different, so i highly recommend you to check your user manual for your laptop/system unit. if the button has been replaced, then press the button in the place of which the original one was previously located. then wait over 20 seconds and press [SPACE]. If profile is locked, enter your user password in bar below round/square profile picture.

you should be on desktop, if not, go back to the previous step and check if it was done correctly.

find the game icon and double click on it.

wait ~10 seconds, then press on "start new game".


Choose a map by double click on it. wait ~30 seconds.

find the [Ctrl] button. it should be somewhere in the lower left corner of your keyboard (depends on your keyboard model). Usually, it is located under the [Shift] button and to the left of the [FN] button.
