Pick 2nd, 3rd division teams you may be fond of (i.e. family from that area, went to visit in summer, had a fling there once... etc) and slug it out in front of 15 away fans for the much needed 3 points for promotion. Enter the world of player loans and bringing in 40 y.o. has-beens on a one year contract to get you through the season, clear the dead wood. Far, far more enjoyable when you get say Burgos FC in Spanish 2nd division B and propell them to CL finalists within 5 seasons.
