Hi there,so today I'm with you my Cold War Middle Eastern Alliance mod.

The MEA is a military organisation formed out of the need to coordinate resources and defence policy between a number of aligned nations in the region.Their use of well-trained indigenous personnel and stockpiles of foreign armament means that they are well adapted to fighting against the most technologically advanced of opponents.

So after playing a Squad for while,I’ve decided to include the MEA into the Arma but with Cold War setting,as the pretty much what inscription said,Arma’s Cold War Era both effectively trained and armed with latest tech equipment (late 80’s standarts),this faction is ready to defend the mighty Alliance from its enemies.

Enemy infantry making a trouble? Harass them with highly effective Hinds and bomb them to dust newly acquired BM-21s.Oppostion air assets are bombing your precious oil fields? Shoot them down with state-of-art Mig-23s.Need a infiltration? Send in the Army Commandos! And destroy Imperalist armored vehicles with T-72’s.

What I’m planning to include in this mod?
-More dedicated roles for Army Commandos.
-Patches for infantry units

Griz,because thats what they wore in squad too expect they used pasgts as standart issue helmet and local made vehicles which are not present in arma

if you want to add a more unique distinctly gulf state twist take a look at the camopedia page for Saudi Arabia or kuwait, specifically their unique 6 color desert variant with grey mixed in, or some of their large desert DPM line ups.

It would make sense for the MEC to operate M60s, BMP series and T-55 and further mods.

just looks like desert storm americans but with G3s. squad's MEA was more unique than this. pretty optimistic for a middle eastern military during the 80s too
