If you run into the same problem as I did, the game starting only in Chinese, here is a guide that will lead you through a couple of easy steps to change the language from Chinese to English.
If you have ever edited a config file, you basically know the process.


You need to open the game's folder and change a line with a text editor inside the game's config file. If you know how to open the folder on your own, skip to point #5

#1 locate your game in your library
#2 Secondary click on it and open the properties
#3 Go to local files
#4 Click on browse
#5 Look for the file: comeon (it's a configuration file)
#6 Open it with your text editor
#7 It will look like this:

BeginScn=0
Version=1.05

[local_config]
current_language=chs


#8 Change the last three letters from from chs (Chinese simplified) to eng (English)
The rest can stay the same.

current_language=eng

#9 Save the file and close it.

#10 You will need to change the file to read only in Windows! Otherwise, it will be overwritten when starting the game.
#10b To do that, you need to do a secondary click on it, properties, tick the box for read only, and close it

#11 start the game, and it should be in English

I was only able to click on the second button on the launcher window though. Not sure what either says, but the game starts with it.
