Alright, so I'll be teaching you about movement, battles, and special abilities, in that order.

Ok, first thing:
The only way to move your characters manually is by clicking the screen to jump. There is no other way to control your characters manually, as they will just infinitely run straight forward. However, there are ways you can go backwards!











See that rock? The one circled in red? Well, if you run into it, it reverses your direction, meaning you can go backwards! This also applies to other objects, but this rock is the most common example.

Now you can change direction and jump, which is the basic movement!

NOTE: Unfortunately, you cannot press down to move to a lower platform like you can in the flash version of the game.

When in battle, you can only use special abilities. Nothing else is under your control. As for special abilities, I'll talk about that later.

So, if you can't control anything while in battle, it must all be RNG right?

Actually, no! You can equip your cats with items you get by winning battles to increase their stats, and you can train them using fish, the currency gained by defeating enemies.

Is it grindy? Yes. But at least it isn't all down to RNG.

In the picture below, you can see there is a icon circled in red. This is a special ability, and you can use it once per level while in battle. Each special ability is different, but that's explained in-game.
