The capacity of the bag is the same as the bag from which it was converted. More to the point, all other property is the same as the original bag. For example, a Duffel Bag (HB) remade from a Hiking Bag has a capacity of 20 and a WeightReduction of 75.
Also, the color of the bag is basically unchangeable. You can create a random color when remaking the bag, but you cannot choose the color.

Thank you for agreeing with my opinion. I use this mod often and enjoy it as one of my goals is to collect items for the duffel bag each time.
I'm not quite ready to implement it yet, so even if it becomes an option, it will take a while longer. Even if supported, rest assured that the default will be the current specifications.
