Introduction
Since you now know from the other guides how to survive, and you made it beyond day 7, the meta game really starts: GOALS
Every 6-10 days a goal is added to the list, seen in the world map. Completing these tasks gives you perks and these are vital for your campaign and all the following campaigns.
Yes, the following campaigns.
If you lose a settlement or more, if a new patch or bug hinders you from continuing your game - you can reset the world map and start fresh. But all unlocked perks will still be there, but this time from day 1 of your first camp.

Some of these perks are pretty worthless (like spell cooldowns), but others are really important (carry limits of resources, fertility, spell costs, more nomads, more efficient housing...). Good example is housing. Without perks you can fit 4 people in one makeshift house. If you get the perk "efficient housing" two times it is increased to 6. This means you need to build one building less in the early game of each map.
Goals and guidelines
Goals have different rewards.
Most of the goals are level 1 - they give 1 perk and up to 800 god experience. Not all of them are easy.
Some goals can give up to 4 perks - they are usually worth it.

General guideline: If it will take you more than 10 days to complete a certain goal, it is probably not worth it.
Why? Because you can reset goals that you don't like, and you will get another goal 7-10 days later.
Why spend 15 days on a map just to recruit 20 cajeet laborers for a 1 perk goal, when you could have reset the goal on day one, gotten a new quest on day 7 and finish this quest on day 8 for 1-4 perks. You want to finish as many goals and get as many perks as possible in the shortest amount of time.

If you have more than one goal at the time available, focus on the goals with the most reward and try to combine the progress.

For example: You have 3 goals -
"migrate to 2 new regions"
"send 25 courier golems to another region"
"make 200 rations in Greenham".

You can work on all 3 goals while you make the rations in Greenham and should do so.

If you can choose freely where to work on your goal or are waiting for the next goal to unlock, play your least developed and youngest region. The more days you play on a map, there more likely you get overrun. There is no need to play a region beyond day 28 (one year) for the overall goal.

Check your goals every time before it dawns in a region, because if you achieved a goal and cash it in, the next timer starts. If you wait to check til after dawn you might waste one day.
If you unlock new goals, check them directly after dawn, even when you are working on another goal currently. The new one could be a goal, that you can progress simuntaniously.

"But how do you reach the goals? Some seem really annoying!"
Some goals are easy the fulfil, some are more difficult, and some are just not worth the hustle.
Strategy for certain goals
Collect xxx of resource in a certain region:
Usually easy to do, but depends on the resource. Use the "make" command in the respective production building and support it with as many workers as possible. Check if you have enough raw materials and buy them at the marketplace if necessary. If you have enough gold, buy the desired resource too. Have some storage available. As soon as you hit the required amount - exit to the world map. Collect the reward. Open the region again and sell the surplus resources.
Exception: Sometimes you are low on iron on a map, and creating 200 hammers will use all your existing iron ore and iron. This can lead to some shortages when you are still upgrading towers. For 1 perk? Maybe not worth it.

Send xxx of resources via courier golem:
All of the above, but with a courier station. Maybe from more than one region. You don't need to wait for incoming golems, the goal is achieved when the golems have left the map with your goods.

Process xxx of organic/stone/crystal trash:
The problem with this goal is usually the amount of trash needed. 200 Stone trash could take 20 days to accumulate if you don't force it.
But here is what you do: Use the harvest spell on the required resource OUTSIDE of your base, but where there is no corruption yet. Leave the resources there to rot (about 2-3 days) then use the recall spell. Have one upgraded processor, at least two upgraded trash cans and 3-4 trashers ready.
Except for organic trash: While you wait for your resources to rot, build walls or and deconstruct them all the time. Everytime you deconstruct a building you have about 50% to get trash. This works for stone, wood and crystal.
If you ever get a goal for suspicious trash, reset immediately. No chance.

Resurrect x ghosts:
Kill you folks with fire or meteors at the edge of your city. Have the reliquary ready with empty vessels or buy empty vessels at the marketplace. Have at least 2-3 occultists assigned.
Don’t throw villagers into cullis gates, that kills the soul too.
After the occultists have bound the ghost to a vessel, the filled vessels are stored at the reliquary. As soon as night comes, zoom in on the reliquary and wait for the ghosts to appear. If you are lucky and attentive you can resurrect several ghosts per night.
I only reset this goal, when the target region is still in its early days (<day 5).

Throw xx skeletons, zombies, etc into a cullis gate
Build at least 2 cullis gates and a lightning rod nearby. Wait for the night and pick up every monster of the required type and throw them into the cullis gates, changing cullis gates with every drop to prevent the overheating of one gate.
Count after the first night, how many you got. If it is less than 10% of the target amount, reset the goal.

Immigate xxx Nomads
Have free housing available. Have lots of surplus food available. Have lots of jobs available. All these factors increase likelihood and amount of nomads. I rarely reset this goal, except for regions that i don't want to develop any further at the moment.

Recruit xx cajeet laborers
Upgrade your marketplace to max. Have enough gold available. But still…don’t expect more than one laborer per day. It might be more sometimes, but I wouldn’t count on it. I reset this goal usually when it needs >15 laborers.
Update: If you just build more marketplaces and upgrade them you can get a lot more laborers.

Cast a certain spell x times or cast any spell x times
Depends on the spell. For example “gods tower” is 1000 mana without perks. If you have to cast this 200 times. Thats 200.000 mana. You’ll need occultists for praying, trash burners and cullis gates. Throw resources (during day) and monsters (at night) in cullis gates. Iy you can cast holy golems at more than level 9, they give more mana when you throw them in a cullis gate than their actual spell cost.
Use dissolve on corpses and trees that you don’t need. Cast, cast, cast.
Easiest way for “any spell” is the conjure material or holy golem if your level is high enough to throw them in a cullis gate.

Migrate to new region
I usually have one or two regions ready to establish a new camp especially for these goals

Regarding cajeet laborers - the more markets you have the more laborers they will generate. So if you just build like 4 markets and wait a bit - you will be drowning in laborers soon enough. Personally I never reset this goal.
