Improved Hydra SNPC Pack

The famous cut creature, Hydra.

This SNPC can be found it the Entities tab under the section "Improved Hydra".



What is this?: This is an addon that is a improved version of the old Hydra SNPC, giving it better textures, lighting, making it partially 3d, and more.


More info:

- The SNPC can attack both Players and NPC's

- The SNPC can attack more NPC's than the original version

- The SNPC will produce higher quality sounds

- The SNPC will act accurately the beta one.

- The SNPC will also retreat after being shot at with explosives.

- Disable thinking and Ignore Players work for the SNPC.

UPDATE 1:

Update 1 has been completed!

This updated makes NPCs attack the Hydras, makes the Hydras Killable, and Adds more types!

Hydra types are

-Hydra Default form: The needle shaped form that impales its enemies.

-Hydra Smacker form: Grabs corpse of enemies and uses them as melee weapons, before consuming them.

-Hydra Seer form: Acts as a sensor, does little damage but has a longer range.

-Hydra Harvester form: consumes the corpses of its enemies and produces eggs (eggs can be disabled via console commands).

-Hydra Stinger form: Close range form that does little damage, but can attack faster. Used to defend Infestations/Hives.

-Hydra Eggs: Produces a random Hydra form

-Hydra Biomass: Does nothing at the moment, can spawn from an egg. mostly detail for hives.

New Console commands are:

"Hydra_Reproduce": Toggles the Harvesters from producing eggs.

"Hydra_NPCsAttack": If disabled, the NPCs will run away from the Hydra like before the update.
