CRN MH-117 Prowler Class Assault Transport

The CRN MH-117 is a new sophisticated atmospheric troop transport, capable of ferrying troops to any location, or environment. The Prowler is reliable and fast, capable of seating 4 infantry, the prowler can take small unit detachments and transport them with relative safety and ease. With an enclosed cockpit the prowler's pilots receive a great deal of protection from in coming infantry fire, and anti tank/anti air fire.

Lore:

Built in the 2900's the Prowler class is the newest transport the CRN has seen in a while. Built to replace the aging fleets of atmospheric transports, the prowler has hauling capabilities, as well with having troop transportation capabilities. The prowler can carry small infantry regiment detachments, and maneuver combat units. The prowler was built around the CRN's core military doctrine of highly mobile, fast moving military elements. The prowler is capable of assaulting fixed, or mobile positions day or night, and land infantry to disable key military targets. With a gun turret mounted on the underside of its nose the prowler can defend itself in both landing positions, and aerial. In contested airspace, the prowler can move in quickly, and leave quickly. Getting boots on the ground before the enemy has even the slightest a clue of what is happening.
