There is lots of up and down without crossing, because it uses less concrete. More detailed explanation for that can be found from my deep dive guide (link in my previous message or steam community hub guide section), where I go through how the concrete usage works in this game.

I could write down some guide for the levels to help community gain more points for their own maps. These same layouts work with and without the bridge trick, but that bridge trick will give you average 5% more points per level and that is why you see it every level, where it is available.
