How much of these extensive adjustments work well for Steam Deck with a focus on looks and fps over battery life?

KensaiLogos, unfortunately I may have the answer why Ubisoft decided to optimise (downgrade the graphics for PC) and the only thing I could think of is to make a fair and equal quality of the game released on every current platform that was at the time of getting its release meaning old generation of consoles. It is similar like with Batman Arkham Asylum as it was supposed to have rain like in the opening scene for PC and old generation of consoles like XBOX 360, PS3 but unfortunately due to low end components they decided to take down that rain. Few years later they decided to bring us the Remastered version of Batman Arkham Asylum and in there we get highest graphics possible ever. If Batman Arkham Asylum has Unreal Engine 4 improvements they could do the same thing but with Watch Dogs franchise. They could release a remaster version of Watch Dogs for the PS5 as we get better hardware year by year. Thank you for your post! And I am glad we could help you out with.

I tried this and it definitely made a noticeable improvement in graphics. Everything looks sharper and reflections on the ground from rain, and on cars looks much better. It's crazy Ubisoft didn't enable this by default.
