HMCS Saint Lawrence was a Canadian fast battleship completed in British yards in 1932. She was heavily armed for the time, with 9x16" main guns. She was build with an experimental hullform, which the British would not continue building ships with but the United States would subsequently try.

Saint Lawrence would see service for several years as among Canada's strongest battleships, until 1955 when she would suffer a RUD at the hand of a 14" shell from the American battlecruiser USS Constellation whilst attempting to prevent an invasion of Nova Scotia.

This shows her in her 1946 configuration, which she would serve in the Canadian-German and Canadian-American wars in.
