BE Coach K4

The K4 was a Belgian passenger coach operated by NMBS/SNCB for regional passenger services.
In 1995 NMBS predicted a capacity shortage while waiting for the delivery of the I11 and MS96. To solve the issue they bought these cars (originally called USI and UIC-Y) from SNCF.
In 2000, after the new I11 and MS96 were delivered and the capacity shortage was resolved, NMBS leased some K4 coaches to NS to relieve them from their shortage. The coaches were retired in 2004.
