描述
This mod gives tribes a boost to defensive and offensive attrition rates.

For Imperator: Rome version 2.0.5 Augustus

Tribal Homeland Attrition version 0.5
In the spirit of the pagan defensive attrition from Crusader Kings II, Tribal Homeland Attrition adds attrition modifiers for tribal countries in Imperator: Rome.

The intention is to make it somewhat more difficult for civilized armies to invade tribal territory, and to give tribal armies on land a bonus to survival because of the extra challenges when fighting countries with superior military technology.

Hostile attrition in tribal territories
  • Migratory tribal homelands gain +3 hostile attrition
  • Settled tribal homelands gain +2 hostile attrition
  • Federated tribal homelands gain +1 hostile attrition

Reduced attrition for tribal armies
  • Migratory tribal armies reduce attrition by 50%
  • Settled tribal armies reduce attrition by 25%
  • Federated tribal armies reduce attrition by 35%

Tribal territory max attrition increase
  • All territories owned by tribes increase max attrition by 5
  • Base 10% plus any additional max attrition increases from weather or events

Forest terrain supply limit
  • Forest terrain territories have a -25% supply modifier

This mod is compatible with the latest versions of the Simple I:R Timeline Extender, OR Invictus and the Timeline Extension for Invictus.

@Homerunner it does add a blanket attrition to any territories owned by tribes, yes. The idea is to give tribes a defensive boost to their territory. Checking for majority culture is an interesting nuance, though, thank you.

Does this add a blanket attrition boost to all territories owned by a tribe? For example, would the lands around Pella instantly turn into supply-less wastes the moment a tribe takes it in a peace treaty or does majority culture etc play a role?

@zachary.deca.stl I'm not exactly sure how to iterate through occupied territories only, but something like that might work by adding a monthly_country_pulse to the on_action files, and then editing the event. I prefer not to add monthly pulse events because it seems to bog down the game when I test it.

i love this mod, would it be possible to make it to where if tribal nation occupies a a territory for a month they also git the modifier until they loss the territory again?

This is exactly the sort of mod I was looking for, since I like to play in Germania and Arabia, thanks so much for making it.
