Simply play through the entire game with the Priest character, upon defeating Cthulhu the achievement should unlock. To obtain the achievement for completing the game with the Journalist a little easier, you should select that character on a New Game+ playthrough once your Priest run is completed.

"Truth Hurts"
Complete the game with the Journalist


Simply play through the entire game with the Journalist character, upon defeating Cthulhu the achievement should unlock. To obtain the achievement for completing the game with the Priest a little easier, you should select that character on a New Game+ playthrough once your Journalist run is completed.

"No Fun Allowed"
Cleanse the streets from all of the balloons

This achievement is obtained in World 1-3, Streets. After progressing through the level normally and obtaining the blue key, you will come upon a small auditorium with red balloons. Simply pop each balloon by any method and the achievement will pop.

There is an extra balloon found in the streets of the level. You do NOT need to destroy this one for the achievement. Thank you to Bandita & .:Kazo:. for bringing this to my attention.

"Secret Agent"
Unlock all the secrets in the Rooftops level

"Bullseye"
Shoot a bullseye with your gun on Wetlands

On World 2-4, Wetlands, after progressing through the level and obtaining the red key, you will enter the door blocked by a red door. The room will have a silo in the far right corner, a boat load of enemies and the blue key. After picking up the blue key, if you pull a 180 and look at the silo you will see a target. Simply shoot the middle of the target and you will obtain the achievement. You'll have to be inside the shooting stall like in the 2nd pic for the shot to count.

"Run Forest RUN!"
Finish Forest level without killing any enemy

Extremely easy to achieve, load World 3-1, simply run directly to the red key and than through the red door towards the exit.

"The Holy Gun"
You found and used the secret gun

For this achievement, you'll have to use the secret gun Tormentor, a pretty powerful machine gun with bouncy ammo, and can only be found in secret areas. However, not every level has a secret area containing Tormentor, they appear kinda rarely. The achievement will pop after you have used up all of the ammo, you cannot swap to your other weapons once you picked it up.

Be sure to finish up all your Tormentor ammo if you have any left before finishing the level or quitting the game, because if you quit the game while holding the gun it will disappear even after you saved, and you cannot carry it to the next level, meaning you'll have to find another to get this achievement. Most likely there are more Tormentors in the game, but the ones listed below are the ones I've found. Feel free to share some info if you found others!

The first can be found in World 1-5, Harbor, a little ways into the level. After dropping down a hole and entering a large room with shipping containers, proceed to the back of the room and jump from the corner platform to the small concrete slab and then to the shipping container, hang a left and jump to the other shipping container. The Tormentor will be in front of you.

Another is found in World 2-5, Mountains. Not long after the save point, you'll fight in this big room with a stone and concrete pillar. After that room you'll follow some small hallways, and you'll be in this one with lots of supplies and a door. Before entering the door, look to your left for a hidden corner containing the Tormentor and an armor.

Another is found in World 3-2, Cornfield. After you get the blue key, you'll need to go through this house with a silo next to it. Before entering the house, look at the small shed across it with a cable leading to the house. You can climb up the hills around it a bit, jump to the roof, and walk across the cable to the house to find the Tormentor.

Another is found in World 3-6, Secret Lab. When you enter the hallway with the surgery room straight ahead, go to your right. In the corner of the room will be a container with a Crab-Man, but you cannot do anything about it for now. After you turn off the lab's power, revisit this room and the Crab-Man will break free. Kill him, stand on the container's remains, and a secret door leading to one will open.

Another is found in World 5-1, City of Ancients. This one is very close from the level start, there is a cave that can be entered around where the arrow points. Follow it and you'll find another in the end.

"Killing Frenzy"
Kill 10 enemies with single herbs skill use

This skill is an ability that the Journalist character will pick up on World 1-3, Streets. Using it gives you a sword that heals when it hits enemies, and you take less damage when it's active.

"Voodoo From Hell"
Kill 5 enemies during a single use of Voodoo Doll skill

Another skill for the Journalist, located in World 1-5, Harbor. Using it will kill weak enemies around you, so use it when you are surrounded.

"Stunner"
Stun 4 enemies with one use of Priest's Stun skill

The Priest's stun ability can be located in World 1-3, Streets. It's easiest to use it when you are swarmed by those zombie-like Wretches since they'll have to get close to attack you.

"Divine Intervention"
Use Godmode to save yourself when your health is lower than 10

This is another one of the Priest's skill, the Necronomicon. Found in World 1-5, Harbor. Using it renders you invincible for a short while. Simply use it when your health is below 10.

"Getting Serious"
Survive 10 waves in Endless mode

This achievement and its big brother "Unstoppable" can and should be attempted on the same run to save time. As you'd expect, Endless mode is a survival game mode where you are in a small area with waves of enemies that keep spawning, your main objective is to survive. It might seems easy at first, but gets chaotic fast. You level up quicker, and managing which skills and upgrades to unlock is the key to surviving. More details on how to obtain both below.


"Unstoppable"
Survive 20 waves in Endless mode

This achievement and its little brother "Getting Serious" might seem hard if you're not a fan of endless/survival mode in games, but there's a trick. The trick is to set auto-aim strength to Strong, with this it's easier to land hits and even critical hits even if you're just shooting blindly in the enemies' general direction. And obviously play on the easiest difficulty, but don't underestimate it since it's no cakewalk.

I obtained both endless mode achievements on the Garden arena on Very Easy difficulty playing as the Priest. First, invest on the skill that makes you gain more XP. Then, I recommend spreading the skills between the throwing knives upgrade, since it practically has unlimited ammo and with auto-aim it really helps, the cross to heal more, and book to make you invincible longer. And you can freely upgrade the weapons of your choice. I mainly used the Abyssal Shotgun, G40 pistol, MP28, and the Rusty Vito machine guns.

"Perfection"
Finish any level on 100%

Not very hard to do, if you explore you'd probably unlock one by accident. You can try it on the first level World 1-1, Attic. On this level there are:

• 122 enemies
  
• 19 Barrels
  
• 1 Secret
  
• 9 Story pieces

The enemies, barrels & story items are difficult to miss if you explore every path. Play with your eyes open and explore each room of the level and you will easily find these all. When the path branches near the end of the level, follow the "Easy Way Out" arrow first since it leads to a dead end with plenty of enemies (as you would probably expect).

The one secret of the first level is extremely easy to find. Moving straight past the first save point you will see a door in front of you, enter this room and there will be another door in the right corner of the room, enter this room, kill the zombies and flip the lever in the small alcove on the far side of the room. Once flipped proceed up the stairs and through the door that opened, reaching the end of this path you will find a set of armor and the only secret of this level.
