No Diplomatic Penalty for "Too Many Trade Partners"

Beskrivning
By default, the game allows you only 3 trade agreements (plus an additional 0.2 per owned region) before you start incurring a penalty with the negotiating partner (-3 per additional trade agreement over the limit). This is pretty limiting to Kislev and Cathay especially, who from a logic and lore perspective should have a lot of trade going on with other Order factions like the Empire and the Dwarfs.

This mod sets the base number of non-penalised trade agreements to 50 (+ 5 per region), and sets the penalty to 0. Happy trading!

My other diplomacy mod that you may be interested in - No Strategic Threat Diplomatic Penalty AKA the "No Great Power Penalty" equivalent mod.

For users on other platforms, you can download the mod here - https://github.com/DrDCB/TWWH3_No_Diplomatic_Penalty_For_Too_Many_Trade_Partners/releases

If you want to help me out, consider gifting me one of the DLCs I still don't have or send me a Steam gift card - https://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/wishlist/id/DrDCB/#sort=order

N.B.: The mod will be updated when it is required. Unless it is verifiably broken, kindly refrain from asking about updates just because the launcher has a coloured icon in it. Any inane BS comments of the ilk "pls update" will be summarily deleted.

Depends on whether it changes the same table. I haven't looked at it.

How compatible is this mod with IEE?

I will just open the aversion mod in rpfm and see what tables it touches. Thanks for the response.

No idea, never heard of it. It's pretty much a hard incompatibility with any other mod that edits the same table (cai_personality_deal_evaluation_components_tables), so you'll need to ask the author if that mod edits that table. Doesn't seem like there are any aversion factors in it though, so it might be ok.

Is this mod compatible with the No aversion mod?

As others have pointed out, this does nothing to stop the AI's negativity towards trade agreements if you are already exporting 100% of your goods (or the goods they want, not sure if that's even considered). If your exports are maxed, the most you will get is the tariff fee (a pitiful ~150 gold per trade partner) and some relations bonus that I believe maxes out somewhere around +15. In addition, as your region count increases and the # of factions decreases, this mod becomes unnoticeable in late game. Therefore, it is hardly "game breaking". It merely makes increasing relations with some factions more manageable as sometimes a Non-Aggression pact is not enough to satisfy them, usually due to a silly racial malus or something.

This makes the campaign too easy. You shouldn't get infinity trade agreements.
