This is a map with all preppers connected with only one big zip-line network.

It's a difficult goal to achieve but it's actually possible! It requires al lot of patience, free time and combinations (a lot of zip-lines are connected with the specific range of 350m).

Zip-line: unlock and upgrade
The Zip-Line can be unlocked in the "Episode 5: Mama" (PCC Lv. 2 device).



A Zip-Line can be upgraded three times:
  • Lv. 1: Connection range 300 meters.
  • Lv. 2: Connection range boosted (350 meters), Resistance Boosted (50%).
  • Lv. 3: Connection range boosted (350 meters), Resistance Boosted (150%).
The Zip-Line upgrades require Chemicals and Special Allows:
  • Lv. 2: 240 Chemicals, 480 Special Alloys.
  • Lv. 3: 300 Chiral Crystals, 1440 Chemicals and 1440 Special Alloys.


You need to upgrade only one zip-line to extend the range up to 350m (Lv.1 - Lv.2 - Lv.1 - Lv.2 - etc.)

Note: whereas Sam was unreachable by BTs in the Original Game, he can be grabbed in the Director's Cut. Now, if Sam is grabbed while he is using a zip-line, he is taken directly to the boss.
How to collect Materials
Special Allows are pretty common material, however Chemicals are the rarest material in the game.

There are few ways to collect Chemicals:
  • Deliveries
  • Terrorist Camp
  • Ranked Orders
  • NPCs' Shelters/other Players' Safe Houses

Deliveries
You can farm Chemicals with the Spiritualist (600 Chemicals each delivery completed with S rank).


Here is the complete list of the Spiritualist deliveries:
  • 243: Junk Dealer
  • 259: Chiral Artist's Studio
  • 272: Waystation North of Mountain Knot City
  • 273: Waystation North of Mountain Knot City
  • 387: Cosplayer
  • 462: Distribution Center South of Lake Knot City
  • 526: Distribution Center North of Mountain Knot City
  • 554: Mountain Knot City
  • 555: Mountain Knot City
Note: The list above doesn't include the Order 296. Order from Mountaineer won't reward you with 600 Chemicals.

IMHO, the best deliveries to get the special reward from the Spiritualist are 526, 554 and 555 because you can complete all of them at once and they will take few minutes.


Terrorist camps
Another way to farm Chemicals and Special Allows is plundering the Terrorist Camp near Evo-Devo Biologist and Old Volcano Observatory.

Take with you x2 Floating Carrier to extend your cargo capacity.


Ranking Rewards
You can complete Ranked Orders to collect Chemicals.
You have one week to get between 0-1% and 30-50%. Your position determines your rewards: x16 up to x71 containers (3840 up to 17040 Chemicals) for each reward.

Ranked Orders update every Monday at 19:00 (UTC +1).

Usually, there are x2 Ranked Orders with Chemicals Reward every week (the 3rd and 4th Ranked in the list).

How to claim a Reward: go in the Shelter/Safe House terminal > Share Locker > Claim Ranking Rewards after the next weekly update, when the leaderboard is updated with the final results.

All the containers are going to be delivered to your actual position when you claim a reward. I suggest you to claim the rewards in a City, a Distribution Center or in another large safe area.
The leaderboard is updated every week resetting the previous results and rewards (every Monday, 19:00 UTC+1). As a result of this, all the unclaimed rewards are going to be removed without the possibility to recover them. Remember to claim your rewards!


NPCs' Shelters/other Players' Safe Houses
The last way to collect the Chemicals is using another player's Safe House or the NPCs' shelters.

The NPCs are going to increase the stored materials in their shelters completing the deliveries.
I suggest to claim the materials before to reach the max capacity, otherwise the materials in excess will be wasted.

If you are lucky, the game will load in your map some other player's Safe Houses full of materials.
Often, the amount of materials that you can collect from this random structures is 200-1600 Chemicals and 1200-3400 Special Alloys.
Floating Carrier and Zip-Lines
  • Floating Carrier (Lv. 1) can be unlocked at Weather Station after Order 27.
  • Floating Carrier (Lv. 2) is unlocked by getting 3-stars connection with Weather Station.

Note: when your Chiral Crystal reaches zero, all the Floating Carriers will stop working.

I would love a version with co-ordinates. I have been making my own (with your map) and so far i have accurate time stamps from the video for each zip line, and distances between each zip line.

Thank you for this amazing guide! It's been a huge help in the building of my own network :dsdclike:.Even though I did deviate in some parts, like not making a connection to the Incinerator, Ruined Shelter, Peter Englert etc, instead keeping these Zips available to cover other routes.

I think I originally used an older version here on Steam, where there was not yet a Zip connection to the Race Track. Either way, thanks for all the hard work, and keep on keeping on :dsdccheer:!

There is one big catch. If you build this it will not appear in any game except your own. Maybe a stray zip line anchor here or there might show up, but it never brings in even a fraction of the structures from any one player like this. At best, you'll get a few well placed structures you can include in your own plans.
