This guide is for the game mod Pre-Fortress 2 a mod inspired by the beta of TF2 that uses Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer.

You MUST install the game before using HLMV

Find Source SDK 2013 MP's version of HLMV

• Usually found in:
  

  C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Source SDK Base 2013 Multiplayer\bin\

Right click and select Create Shortcut.



Right click select the Properties option.

Paste this inside of the target:

• If your installation of PF2 or SDK 2013MP are on separate drives, it is up to YOU to correctly enter their locations.

What you are adding is a command to HLMV. This command says select a -game called sourcemods\pf2

If you follow instructions correctly you shortcut to HLMV should now work with Pre-Fortress 2
