Learning Alchemy is slow, time-consuming and a pure trial and error.
This guide aims to ease those players than want to get into alchemy's boons but dislike going through the process of learning the recipes.

Guide was written in the Beta 0.8 Day One and updated until version 1.2.1 (full release)

= Alchemy Explanation =

To do Alchemy you gotta find Demi first in the Hollow Basin to be taken to the Wing's Rest.

She is located near the end of it. She will ask if you want to go to the Wing's Rest, where Etna, the alchemist, is located.

When you interact with Etna, they will ask you if you wish to do alchemy. If you say "yes", this UI will pop out:

Basically alchemy is trial and error. Ingredients will NOT be consumed unless you do a correct recipe. You can't mix everything with anything, the game limits which ingredients can be mixed with just so it's less tedious to guess the right recipe. If a combination doesn't work, that doesn't mean an item is useless, but rather that you need to discover more ingredients.

Only ingredient that matters is the first one, aka the big one. Secondary items can be placed in any order.
After you discover a recipe, it will be forever remembered under the "Formulas" Tab.

I wonder if the devs actually planned on using those extra materials, the Vampire Ashes, Fool's Gold, and Fire Coral. Seems like there was a Fire Resistance item planned but I don't see any information on it so far.
