- Park near the island/fort with the shadow skeletons.

STEP II

- Take a flare.

STEP III

- Shoot it above the island/fort.

STEP IV

- And Voila! The shadow skeletons are now vulnerable and ready to be shot/slashed!

- This works great for Athena bounties and forts.

You're guide forgets the mention that if it is daytime this is useless. At night is the only time besides in fog that shadow skeleton's are vulnerable so this strategy is only effective at night

In PvP (if it's nighttime) you can shoot three white flares above your ship and it essentially blinds the enemy ship almost completely
