Thief: The Dark Project is the first of an absolute legendary trilogy of formative stealth video games released all the way back in 1998 by Looking Glass Studios, a studio, by the way, that was absolutely fucking insane! This was a company full of big ideas, and passionate people, who worked 16 hour work days, often times sleeping in at the office, to bring us some of the greatest, most influential video games we’ve ever known.

I wish I could say I whole-heartedly recommend this game to all of you, but that just isn't the case. With every other DiSHU so far (except you shadow man...) has been an easy recommend for me, because usually these old legendary games have something fundamentally fun to them that makes em worth experiencing, even decades later, but Thief's issue is that time has shown it's age. And since Thief is such an ambitious game, considering it's literally a forefather of a genre, these cracks in its programming bog the experience down heavily. 's a damn shame.

But really, thanks for watching! I turned up the brightness a bit on all the footage so hopefully it doesn't turn out too dark for the tube. Also Thief's soundtrack was a little too ambient and drone-y for my taste so I used some BUMPIN'  tracks courtesy of Running Shine on youtube, check em out, legit one of the most underrated creators on here.
