Emily = Worst aging PVP-meta character out there. Why?
1) No utility in her moveset, besides healing. No disrupt, groggy, shield etc. Saving grace = consistent DPS due to body/weapon seperated.
2) No weapons to secure "supremacy" (myth, perpuated by frequency bias). PVP weapons become irrelevant? Emily instantly drops off. Not f2p-friendly as a result for PVP. Waste.
3) Reliant on external utility (supports mostly, since weapons (2), and maga's are limited)
Her 'synergy' with external support is highly limited due to her limited utility.
Astaroth and Kurenai aren't great either. Kurenai has a groggy on being hit, and relies on a dodge. Both which don't proc during her own invulnerability. Astaroth has potential, but doesn't play nice with A.I. as it stands.
I do however agree that PvP is lacking. Partly due to balance and not being F2P friendly. The AI isn't too bad but it is far from perfect, depends on the character. I would guess that programming the AI is a nightmare though so IMO it works ok.
The biggest hurdle for many who want to PvP tis not having the resources available to build effectively (it is not F2P friendly).
This guide is nice for builds and a good reference, thank you!
I'd like to see several types of PvP arena possibly with certain requirements to get into a tier? The 5+ win steak system where it puts a low rank versus insanely powerful players on the 6th match is dumb. Better AI would be nice.
