IF YOU DISABLE EAC YOU CAN'T GO ONLINE, IF YOU WANT TO DO SHENANIGANS WITH YOUR SAVE DON'T GO ONLINE WITH IT AFTERWARDS. IF YOU GOT YOURSELF BANNED BECAUSE YOU TRIED TO BRING YOUR LEVEL 999 CHEAT ENGINED CHAR ONLINE ITS YOUR OWN FAULT.
Guide
1. Create a .txt file and name it steam_appid.txt and it needs to go into the same folder that eldenring.exe is in.
2. Open it and add the string of numbers "1245620" (without quotes) to the file.
3. Launch the game by clicking on the exe file, DO NOT launch it through steam, it won't work if you do.

If you see this screen telling you that you can't go online when you reach the main menu then it worked.

However this screen will only show up if you set it to go online automatically in settings.
If you set it to start offline just try to go online and that message will appear.

To go online again launch it through steam so EAC is enabled.

Doesn´t work. I have done exactly what is explained and then checked the taskmanager when I was ingame via the exe and eac is still listed as running.

Hello fellow retard here, you don't actually name the file steam_appid.txt because ITS ALREADY A DAMN TXT FILE. I just renamed it to steam_appid and it worked fine for me.:steamhappy:
