This is an early German World War 1 single seat fighter plane introduced in late 1915. This aircraft was the main instigator for the Fokker Scourge in the next year

So I have...no idea if it's the plane itself or lucky AA shots, but moving up or down while shooting, the plane just...gets damaged bad.
