Chokepoints are essential in any battle, but it is very easy to find them in most of the battles. Many times, you can retreat/group up in an area with 1-2 chokepoints and almost always in an area with 2-3 chokepoints. Having 2+ Princeps with the deflecting ability is really crucial.
The only thing the enemy can do is throw fire or poison at you. But then you'll just laugh through that damage over time, because your Princeps doesn't actually care. And even if it gets dangerous, you can use your Triarius to work wonders.
I am on act 3 and the legion modifiers the computer can dish out are insane. This coupled with the fact that I can never seem to get over 4k in legion strenghth becuase I can never get enough money to replensish anything. Plus, my strategems are never that good even though I am constantly replenishing them....
It is a great game but the legion combat/management aspect has been incredibly frustrating.
