Once this gets to 10 subs I'll update it. I have a couple other playlists that I'm barely keeping up on + I want to play the game LOL. I'm trying to stay away from stuff they play to death on the radio stations (source I live in Indiana USA)and based off that I might trim some songs/artists from here like Bob Seger unless ya'll want me to leave it as it. Sorry Foreigner is tied with Bad Company for my favorite band so no compromise there LOL those songs are staying. I might also cut Van Halen and ZZ Top based off what people want.

Released in 1982 from the album "Rough Diamonds" the song Electricland by Bad Company made it to number 2 for the recently created Mainstream Rock music charts for Billboard (created 1981). Despite the content matter which is dark to say the least, I dig Simon Kirke's drumming and of course Paul Rodgers soulful vocals. When he sings the chorus:
A jolt of lightning set's me back a pace
Feel like a visitor from outer space
Please excuse me if I don't quite understand
I'm just a stranger in electric land.
The inflection of his voice is so powerful.

Bad Company is my favorite band. For the last 30 years it's been between just 2 people for my favorite vocalist. Paul is one, my other favorite Lou Gramm of Foreigner. I gave up trying to choose my ultimate favorite between the two years ago because they both are the best for Classic Rock vocals in my book.

In 1986 I was 12 years old watching MTV back when they actually played music videos, and my favorite group Run DMC had came out with a video for the song Walk This Way. I'll never forget the moment that Steven Tyler busted through the wall it was a life changing moment for me. Up until that moment, I listened to Rap. That day started my lifelong love affair with Classic Rock and is what made this playlist possible.
Last Child by Aerosmith from the album " Rocks" was released as the first single in 1976. Everything about this song is perfect (listen with headphones) and it is my most favorite Aerosmith song.

Ride On was sung by Bon Scott of Ac/Dc who died February 15,1980 right before their album Back in Black came out. It was originally on the album Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and later released on the album Who Made Who. Who Made Who (the song) was created for the Stephen King Film Maximum Overdrive. Brian Johnson became the lead singer for Back In Black which came out later in 1980 after Bon Scotts passing.
