I made this to keep track of a lot of information that I struggled to learn without the assistance of other players.

Controls
  • INVENTORY: To pick up items, aim at them then grip. To eat an item, put it to your face for a few seconds. If you want to put it in your inventory, just move the item to your hips or tummy. TIP: Heal your allies by putting your food items near their face! They'll eat it, and it will apply the buff to them.

THE GAME DOES NOT TELL YOU THIS: If you aim your hand at a grab-able item and grip, you will pull the item into your grasp. This even works with item drops from monsters (even if the grab crosshair does not appear on the item when aiming at it). Practise the angle required to grab from afar to get really good at speed looting.

  • THE GLIDE GUIDE ~ hold your arms out wide whilst in the air. Depending on your height, you may have to reach out rather far. Consider jumping and then gliding to get across short gaps! Watch your stamina, because it runs out when gliding.
BONUS: Glide backwards by crossing your arms!

  • CLIMBING?
Gripping pretty much any solid object will allow you to free move your body placement. Do this to climb over obstacles, reach ridiculous heights, or to grab items you wouldn't be able to grab otherwise.

  • VALVe Index Controller (DEFAULT)
Left Hand B - Minimap (Appears on your wrist)
Left Hand A - Menu Screen (Access to all menus from here)
Right Hand A - Jump (Uses stamina)
Right Hand B - Class Activatable Skill (Has cooldown)
Triggers - Enhance weapon with power/Fire weapon depending on class + Use item in hand
Information and Advise
  • CHESTS: Chests spawn throughout the map, respawn after being looted, and can only be seen by you. Collecting one item from the chest will grant you all of the items dropped! (Thank you Ernie for the information!)

  • AMARA'S TEARS: Can be found once per character at each of their pre-determined locations. These do not take up an inventory slot, and get put into your quest inventory instead. These can be turned in at an early game 'friend' for permanent stat boosts when you collect certain totals. Tears also make loud jingling sounds when you are near. They are often hidden, so exploring corners, pools of water, caves, etc etc is encouraged.

    Amara's Tear >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • CADENCE STRIKE: Three successful consecutive full damage strikes in the same direction. Triggers spells on melee class.

    Crafting Items

  • ENHANCEMENT DUST
There are many variations of enhancement dust based on level. These are earned and used (along with money) to upgrade your pre-existing armour and weapons at enhancement stations

    Enhancement Station >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • DANCING SPARK
A core ingredient in crafting at synthesis station. Other cores: Mountain Ruby, Clam Pearl

  • MISC DROPS
There are plenty of items that go into your quest item section of your inventory that drop from slain enemies and chests. These items are usually enemy/area specific. Early game examples include Broken Sylphid Horns/Exile Masks/Riven Bows and pieces of forest creatures you rip off. These can of course be sold, but their main purpose is for crafting new weapons and armour at a synthesis station as the secondary ingredient required for high level gear. Most materials you collect but no longer have a use for due to being over leveled can be turned in to specific NPCs for massive XP and money reward.

    Synthesis/Crafting Station >>>>>>>>>>
Pick what you wanna make, slap the green button, place your materials, and boom!

  • TIP: Need ENHANCEMENT DUST for enchanting? Go to lower level areas and farm chests for dust and crafting materials from enemies. Use these crafting materials to create low level gear, that you can immediately disenchant for EASY FREE ENHANCEMENT DUST!

To fuel the cooking station, slap this yellow metal thing that looks like a lit lamp into this weird circular slot thing on the side of the cooking station towards you. This powers the whole station, allowing you to cook! WARNING: Only use the free one! The costly fuel cells are, I have been told, a planned feature, and currently do nothing!
Extra Info!
  • All achievements in the game currently are only obtained through completing main storyline quests.
PRO BLADE MASTER TIPS
  • Slicing projectiles destroy them, preventing you from getting hit

  • You can throw your sword an unlimited amount of times without using mana. Who said sword masters don't have range?

  • Power your blade before blocking!

  • Blocking is the only way you will survive higher level fights. Begin practising early, even on enemies who attack with spells or their teeth/fists.

  • To do maximum damage, you want to wait between slashes. There is a cooldown on each sword that prevents you from spam-swinging. You can tell your sword is charged from the last hit by hearing a sound along with a glow from the tip of the blade.

Is it possible to disenchant items for crafting materials?

Cooking is hell, I agree! You cannot eat cut ingredients though, however ;c

this one feels like a bug, might get patched later, you can grab the swords and throw them, once they return, they just float on your hands, no need to keep holding them, useful for vive wands, pointless for index controllers

The costly cores in the cooking station don't do anything. It's a feature for the future that they haven't implemented yet.

Regarding chest items:
It doesn't matter which item you grab. You get all of them. It is just a QOL feature, that you don't have to grab every single item. The entire loot is yours.
