由 Luxanne 制作
This is literally just my most basic idea on the lore for the funny milk game, This is like something I made up right after finishing so totally help me out with this lore if you want.

These are all theories made by me and the game community. There are many things missing and plot holes and things that might be wrong and such, so please please please help out, award, fav and stuff.

Currently, some things missing are...

-What is with the character's knowledge that she is in a visual novel?
The family theory (Mom, Dad and the MC)
My basic theory on the family is, to put it short, that the mother killed the father and very badly hurt the MC as well, but they survived. However, they are trying to convince themself that the father killed himself. (Or, in another case, the father really did kill himself and the mother blamed the MC for it, throwing them out the window.). Some evidence includes:

  • The MC claims that if they don't buy the milk, that the mother will throw them out the window, though possibly in a joking way. However, the father "Had thrown himself out the window."

  • Remember her fear of Os? With how the apartment building looks, it appears to be in the shape of a circle. This could be her POV falling to the bottom floor, as with the circle getting closer.

  • The faces between the mother and the MC feel very odd. The mother looks natural (though kinda creepy) but the MC is very clearly scared or threatened, like she would have no remorse in hurting or killing them.

  • The MC is clearly crazy or has some sort of brain damage, possibly from hitting her head after falling.

  • The MC had most of their mental problems come from an accident they didnt want to talk about.

  • Look at the screenshot from one of the game's images on Steam. Doesn't it appear to be a young person's head bleeding?

  • When you chat with the clerk, if you choose "They hate you" or "You're pathetic," you get red text that implies the MC is horrified of mom.

  • The MC mentioned before that they had physical therapy, which is usually given to people that have suffered some sort of spine damage, which could have most likely come from the fall along with the head trauma.

  • The beginning dialogue in the story implies that the MC will be "very very guilty" if the milk isn't bought.

Probably more that I had missed, but that's all I have for now.
Drug Theory (Red Text)
This theory mainly specifies that the Red Text and any other strange visual thing happening is most likely the drugs affecting the MC.

  • The creatures in the supermarket could most likely be real people affected visually by the drugs. This could also be affecting what they hear, due to the strange things said by them such as the first one repeating "O!"

  • In the Bad Ending, the MC says "Looks like *name here* isn't going to help me. Guess I'll try a different one next time." This doesn't sound like they are referring to a real person, but some sort of object or medicine.
DID Theory (Both red text and family)
This theory is that the game is a representation of D.I.D., or Dissociative Identity Disorder.

  • The D.I.D. most likely manifested after her father committed suicide (They were not killed by the mother in this theory.) and the MC's own attempt afterward, which connects to the physical therapy.

  • You as the player are either one or all of their alters. If you are all of them, then whenever you have the option of what to say, you are in reality seeing all the different things the MC is hearing from the alters, and picking which one should be the loudest. If you are just one alter, then you are choosing your personal response.

  • The drugs that people use for D.I.D. can cause visual/auditory hallucinations, along with the illness itself, which explains many of the strange things that happen in the game.

  • The red text is the stuff that they have blocked out and pushed from their memory.

  • The way they talk with their mother in the end could be because there's some sort of trauma brought up through or directly by the mother.

That is literally it sf
I plan to add more, but dont know much. totally help me if you can.

it sounds best like a mix between the Drug Theory and D.I.D. Theory IMO, though it leans more towards being on meds since when she arrives home she hears complete silence when on the meds but when she isn't on anything it's chaotic

IMO the character doesn't know she is in a visual novel, simply pretend she is, for any reason (which isn't relevant)
I bet it's not that uncommon for normal people to "pretend" being a protagonist of some sort (for a particular occasion)

I think she just have autism.

At least I have autism and my life is A LOT like this, but without the red colours and allucinations.

You know... social phobia, ecolalia, being good at numbers and logical thinking, having weird rituals even for walking, taking things very literal... it sounds A LOT like autism.

PD: I have to delete and rewrite this various times because I keep finding minimal grammatical errors in my text XD

I think the DID theory is the strongest

I think we are the medication… just by the way the MC talks about us and how she guesses we won’t help her after all

On finishing this game and being left with my own thoughts, and reading these theories, it's left me with less of a "creepy in the way of psychological horror" feeling, and more "I feel bad for the protagonist, this is really sad."
