K/DA All Out Ahri - League of Legends Wild Rift

A port of Ahri from Wild Rift.

Had a lot of fun with this one. Her outfit presented a lot of challenges regarding materials. What's funny is that the game and the actual MORE music video are pretty inconsistent regarding the materials on her outfit - her top is pearlescent in the game, and yet it's not in the music video. Her left side of the skirt is way more opaque and the right side of the skirt features way more iridescence than it does in the music video. And, her tail is purple in the game, and mostly clear in the music video. So, I kind of settled on a middle ground in terms of the materials.

Features:

- Valve Biped renamed skeleton, and organized bones
- Pearlescence and iridescence on her outfit
- Really wacky tail materials
- HWM face flexes, using mostly original shapekeys from the game
- Enhanced texturing around the face, at least compared to the game
- Admittedly slightly wonky procedural wrist bones

I elected to not make the shoulder helper bones procedural, as I find that manually posing/animating them would work better.

The default tail materials often will not play nice in front of a lot of props, scenebuilds, etc. While it looks mega cool, it's very unreliable. As a result, I have included alternate tail materials in SKIN 1, which should work much better in more scenarios, at the cost of not looking as cool (but still looking cool).

For the nerds, I basically swapped the sorting of the refract layer. Normally, the refract layer was drawing over everything, which most importantly included the tail phong, splitting it up super nicely. However, this sorting was breaking in a lot of situations because of Source shenanigans, so the alternate skin causes refract to draw last. Why this fixes stuff, I don't know.

It's annoying as hell. Sorry. Also, making her eyes close fully involves both the closelid and the multi closelid shapekey, because reasons.

Humongous thank you to Pretzel for basically walking me through how to compile QC eyes, and how to set up HWM. Wouldn't have been able to do this without you. Or, maybe I would have, but it would have been horribly painful.

If you find any issues with the model that aren't already acknowledged up above, don't hesitate to comment about it. I'll maybe fix it, hopefully, eventually. One of these days, probably, when I get around to it.
