Dimension Tripper Neptune: TOP NEP is a Neptunia spin-off arcade game published by Idea Factory. Perhaps this release is a consolation to fans who have been discouraged by the fact that the original Neptune series hasn't had another game released in years. The spin-off series puts relatively little pressure on developers and this particular game was born through the cooperation of several development teams. In particular, WSS playground, famous for Touhou Luna Nights, participated in the development of this game. In that sense, this game has high expectations from players. However, the best part of this game is that you can play another game from the Neptune series again! Now, what kind of game is this? Let's take a look with Nyanco!

While you are familiar with Neptune and her world, you may not be familiar with this new genre of game that this spin-off was made in. Reminiscent of classic games, this is a good attempt at making a game in this genre. New users are aware of old school games, but rarely play them at all today. I do recommend you play this one though as it is worth experiencing. As you guide Neptune, you can experience the gameplay aesthetic of old school arcade games with a modern twist. There are 5 stages and fierce boss battles, and you can collect coins to get help from Neptune’s friends. If the game is difficult, you can adjust the difficulty level, and you can compete for scores with other gamers through the online leaderboard. Fanservice for fans of the Neptunia series is also included. Pretty good, right?

Dimension Tripper Neptune: TOP NEP, All in all, is a pretty interesting Neptune spin-off game. Overall, this is a better arcade game than its previous spin-off, Neptunia Shooter. Since the WSS playground team participated in development with Idea Factory, it resulted in the game quality being good so far and they did a good job too. Given its genre characteristics, as a game this is well worth playing. Above all, it is worthwhile that the Neptunia series continues. If you are interested in anime games or are a Neptunia game collector, this game should be in your library. Recommended!
