Snow-Shod Farm Manor House sits in a beautiful area near Riften. I have added to the existing Snow-Shod Farm to create an interesting player home and farm that blends into the vanilla game. Here you can run your own small farm by working in your garden, planting what you choose, grinding your wheat, and keeping bees.This house mod is an alternative to the standard Hearthfires homes. It is prebuilt but has many of the DLC features.

Inside you'll find custom features and interesting furnishings. Use your Hearthfires oven to make pastries and display your trophy kills on pedestals. You'll also find all crafting facilities in and around the manor.

Be sure to fully explore the house for a few little surprises. (Do you fear the day? You'll find comfort here as well).

I have integrated the farm manor house into the vanilla Snow-Shod family’s story. Letters and journals explain why the Snow-Shods moved into Riften. The bedrooms and furnishings reflect the stories of the Snow-Shod children.

You can gain access to the locked doors in the following ways:
Find the advertisement in the Bee & Barb Inn (Riften) and follow the instructions. The lease price is dependent on your Speech Skill (base price 3,000 Septims).
OR
Steal the key from Uthgard
OR
Use the console to open the door

Features:

Outside
- NPC steward Uthgard (works both outside and inside the manor house)
- Apiary for bee keeping
- Expanded Snow-Shod Farm garden with some new open soil for planting
- Grain mill
- Horse stable
- Goats
- Extra cow
- Smithing facilities in the attached tower
- Beautiful forest location very near Riften
- Sad little family cemetery

Inside
- Fully Navmeshed for followers with additional idle markers (for use with Followers Can Relax and Custom Family Home)
- Weapon storage (plaques & racks)
- Ample safe storage (barrels, satchels, chests, safes, lock boxes, etc.)
- Alchemy crafting area
- Enchanting table in secret room
- Hearthfires oven and vanilla cooking stations in kitchen
- Custom bookshelves (built not copied, so no edits of the vanilla player houses)
- Trophy pedestals (two of each size)
- Armor mannequin
- Shrines to cure and bless
- Three bedrooms, four beds
- Master bed gives Well Rested effect
- Light from the windows changes based on the time of day

Notes:

**Requires Hearthfires**
Why? Because the oven, planting soil, apiary, and trophy pedestals require that DLC.

**This mod does not provide the ability to move your spouse and/or children here**
Why? Because adding that feature requires more editing of the Skyrim world than I am willing to do.
BUT VitchRazor’s mod Custom Family Home works very well with this mod. Give it a try.

**This mod heavily edits the exterior cells around the vanilla Snow-Shod Farm and will conflict badly with any other mod that also changes those cells.**
